Frequently asked questions

How do I start a match?

Open Rotaru, select your team, then create a new match from the home screen. Add or confirm your roster, set match length and format, then tap to start the live match view.

Where is my data stored?

On your iPhone only. Rotaru does not upload team or player data to our servers. Uninstalling the app removes locally stored data.

Do I need an account?

No. Rotaru works entirely on your device.

Does Rotaru work offline?

Yes. Core features — rosters, live match tracking, and reports — work without an internet connection.

How do I track playing time?

During a live match, use the clock and tap players to record when they go on or off the field. Rotaru calculates on-field and bench time from those shifts.

How does match planning work?

Rotaru builds fair rotation plans on your device using built-in planning rules that balance playing time and preferred positions. No internet connection or Apple Intelligence is required.

How do I report a bug or request a feature?
